4 Reasons why people get failed on YouTube

YouTube become on of the most popular video hosting platform. People are getting famous and setting their career up there, but there are many people who failed to succeed. We are going to explain the real reasons why most of people get failed on YouTube.

YouTube is not just a website with millions of videos, it has changed the life of many people and people set their career as full time YouTuber. There are many example of those people who left their full time job and start making YouTube videos for their channel. One of those people is an American Businesswomen and YouTube personality Michelle Phan.
As my YouTube following grew, I was soon earning as much from advertising revenue as from waiting tables, so I quit my job. My boss thought I was crazy, which just made me more determined. In 2012, four years and 200 videos later, my channel was so successful that Google offered me $1 million to create 20 hours of content- Michelle Phan

Being a successful YouTuber is not a big ask, YouTube made many poor and unrecognized people stars and celebrities. All you have to do is to set your goals and follow your dreams. There are few common mistakes that I observe that most of the failed YouTubers do, all you have to do is to avoid these mistakes and focus on your target.

Reasons why people get failed on YouTube:

There could be plenty of those mistakes because of which people don't succeed on YouTube, but I am going to uncover the most common mistake that are the cause of failure.

1. Choosing the wrong topic or niche:

This the starting point whether you are staring YouTube or blogging career, if you made a mistake here then I am sure you are not gonna move forward in your career. lets see how people made big mistakes when choosing the topic for their YouTube channel
  • A topic they don't have knowledge about. I have seen many startup YouTubers who start YouTube channel on a specific topic about which they don't have any knowledge, For Example You might have notice that on YouTube there are millions of Technology related channel, but not all of them are successful. Similarly in other niches you can observe this too.
My Tip:
Don't look at the topics which gets more views and subscribers, but look inside you and see at what you are at your very best. If you know your strength then you will create quality content in that specific niche and this will automatically led to the getting more subscribers and views.
Just as a Chinese philosopher said
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

2. Lake of planning and setup:

Planning is something that plays an important role in every field. If you start your YouTube channel with proper planning and setup then there are more chances that you get successful in your YouTube career.
Most of the new YouTubers get failed because they do not do any planning for their channel.

Panning for YouTube includes
  1. Proper setup where you will record your videos.
  2. Proper accessories with you will make videos
  3. Proper planning of your near future videos, and how you will make one video from another and so on.
  4. Planning of your targeted keywords or tags.
  5. How you will handle the work load while you are making videos for your channel and how you will create new content everyday. All these things should have been properly planned, and how you will execute your plans.

3. Expecting too much from your channel:

Yes you may make million dollars from your YouTube channel in future, but thinking about money or expecting too much from your channel in the beginning is of the reason mostly people get failed on YouTube.
Lets see what will happen if you expect too much from your YouTube channel in the start of your career
  • In case if your channel do not perform well in the starting days and you are expecting too much from it, then it will led you to mental stress.
  • Mostly people stop posting videos on their channel because they think they are not going to be successful, it is because they were expecting too much from their channel.
So you should have been focused on the creation of the content and should not think about the views or money in the initial stages.

4.  Staying isolated from the social activities:

I have seen many people who get isolated from the real world after starting their YouTube channel, this is the reason why the don't succeed in their career, it is because when you get isolated from the communities or people around you then your mind will be stuck at on place, this will led to the limited content creation or lake of ideas and new things.
So go out talk to the people of the same niche you are posting videos about. Share your ideas and be inspired from them.

Final Words:

At the end I will say that you should follow your dreams thats the only thing that will make you to be successful on YouTube or in other field of life. Do not be afraid from the failure and make videos from your heart. People will automatically subscribe you, do not think about them in initial stages.
